A white sangria is a refreshing drink to share with friends now spring has officially sprung.
Spring has officially sprung, so put the milky Baileys back in the cupboard and break out the punch. One of the easiest – and most delicious – cocktail punches to share with friends is Sangria.
When we’re talking Sangria, most often we’re thinking about reds like Tempranillo or Sangiovese with a couple of oranges floating on top. Well, this White Sangria is refreshingly different.
To create your White Sangria, you’ll need a large jug or bowl. Slice an orange, leaving the skin on, as well as a lemon and a lime. Pick some fresh basil and throw that in the bowl too.
Pour in a bottle of pinot gris and a bottle of Schweppes Dry Ginger Ale. Add a splash of brandy and another dollop of Cointreau. Finally, to sweeten things up a little, stir in a tablespoon
Add some ice, bung it in the fridge until it’s chilled, and prepare to relax.
